Ski Mask The Slump God is the whole package. Of all the new rappers bubbling up from the underground, he’s one of the few who has been able to pull everything together and combine his talents with a solid identity, engaging personality, and savvy way of handling himself. He’s also had consistently great videos.
In the past, he’s collaborated closely with Cole Bennett, but for his new “My Mind” video, Ski Mask called on the talents of Laka Films, Paul John, and Triptych Visuals for another trippy, psychedelic video. Basically, he just hangs out by some train tracks the whole time, but his on-camera presence (and visual effects) keep the simple video engaging.
Watch the video above and continue to see him interviewed by a bunch of puppies.
Ski Mask The Slump God will be performing on the Pigeons & Planes stage at ComplexCon in November, alongside Smokepurrp, Wifisfuneral, D.R.A.M., Jaden Smith, Injury Reserve, and more. Buy tickets here.
